WHY WE STARTED THIS PROJECT

Italian students with the teacher Mrs. Teresa Costanza

Turkish students with the teacher Mrs. Nazan Esroy

Hello,

We , Italy and Turkey, are going to work on a project called "Italy calling Turkey for cultural exchange" because we want to give our students the chance to know better countries of Europe we know a little about .This project will let both partners  know more about the language , customs, history , school system, economy and eventually build up good long lasting friendship. For both Italian and Turkish students this opportunity is also a good motivation to study and improve English socializing through social networks. Students will be more aware about Europe unity/diversity and will truly feel European citizens .

Students will meet on face book in order to have a daily contact , tell about themselves and get to know better and better each another using the English language, but they will also learn a bit of Italian as well as Turkish language.
As a matter of fact as first task students will start working on a small survival English-Italian-Turkish Phrase Booklet to help them move around people and places when the cultural exchange will take place in both countries. Italian and Turkish students as well as teachers can't wait to meet in person !!

Hello,

We have created on face book an  International Cultural Exchange group(to vision it clickhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/193676104072867/ )  in order to have long-lasting friendship , learn another language and culture. It will give opportunities to our students to meet and get to know each others better. They will introduce themselves in groups with a small video, work on files about school, city , family , common interests and post pictures . By using the English language , they will learn a bit Turkish as well as Italian and prepare a Language Phrase Book . It will provide them some basic expressions when they are in Turkey &Italy.
